What is VET Blízko:
VET blízko is a mobile veterinary service built around a simple idea: to make veterinary care as stress-free as possible for your pets. We provide veterinary care at home for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, bringing the care they need directly to them, in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
We understand that getting your pet to a veterinary clinic is not always easy or even possible. That is why we come to you, providing care tailored to each individual patient, their needs and the situation at hand.
Whether your pet needs a routine health check, annual vaccinations or help with an acute health problem, we are here to help and provide the care they need.
One of the particularly important services we offer is at-home euthanasia. Being able to say goodbye peacefully, in the safety and comfort of home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and the people they love, can make an incredibly difficult moment a little gentler for both pets and their families.
We believe that good veterinary care is about more than making the right diagnosis and providing the right treatment. It is also about trust, kindness, taking the time to listen and making sure that both you and your pet feel safe and cared for.
The word blízko means “close” or “nearby” in Czech. For us, it represents more than simply coming to your home. It reflects our personal approach, the importance of building trust and our commitment to providing care that respects the individual needs of every patient and their owner.

How is the visit to our place going?
1.Call or write
Choose the method that suits you, call or fill out the contact form. We will arrange a visit date and briefly discuss what we can help your pet with.
2.We will come to you
We will come directly to you at the agreed time. This way, your pet stays in a familiar environment and does not have to travel, wait, or stress from the doctor's office.
3.We will treat your pet
We will calmly and without unnecessary haste carry out the examination or necessary treatment. Depending on the situation, we will discuss the next steps with you and recommend what will be best for your pet.
4.Recommendations and care
Finally, we will discuss together what will happen next, whether another visit, treatment, check-up or possible examination at the clinic is needed. We will only leave when you know what to do next.

All prices are approximate and may vary depending on the materials and medications used as well as the complexity of the treatment. For a more accurate price estimation, please contact us by phone or email.
Note:
For scheduled visits, the distance is calculated using Google Maps from the nearest departure location: Prague 4 (Pankrác) or Tábor–Náchod.
For emergency visits outside regular working hours, travel costs are calculated individually based on our current departure location. We will always inform you of the estimated total cost before setting off.

ABOUT ME
MVDr. Eliška Saevarsson Slunečková
When I graduated from veterinary university in Brno in 2018, I had no idea where my journey would take me. Thanks to a wonderful team that inspired me during my studies, I joined a veterinary clinic in Nusle, Prague. To be honest, I wasn’t particularly keen on moving to Prague at the time — I thought I would only stay for a little while. In the end, that little while turned into five wonderful years filled with experience, friendships and work I truly enjoyed.
Life then took me to Iceland, where I lived for several years and which even became my second home. I still return regularly and continue to work with a veterinary clinic in the very heart of Reykjavík. I have to admit that spotting seals and puffins is one of the best things waiting for me after work on my trips to the north.
After years of working in veterinary clinics, I decided to add a new dimension to my professional life by becoming a mobile veterinarian. I love visiting patients in their own homes, getting to know them in their familiar surroundings and combining veterinary medicine with a more personal approach.
When I’m not in the car on my way to a patient, you can usually find me at a welcoming veterinary practice in Bořislavka or at the clinic in Nusle, where I focus mainly on dentistry.
In 2025, I completed a postgraduate certificate in veterinary dentistry in the UK. Working in veterinary medicine means you never really stop learning — and I love that. I’m Always happy to discover new things, exchange experiences with colleagues and learn from them. I’ve built a great network of vets and specialists I can consult or refer my patients to whenever needed.
