Preventive health checks
A preventive check-up is a great way to make sure your pet is doing well, even if you don't notice any problems with them yet. During the examination, I will focus on their overall health and, depending on their age or needs, we can also discuss appropriate prevention. Regular check-ups can help catch some health problems before they become apparent. And because they are done at home, there is no need to travel or wait in the office.
Examinations of sick pets
When your pet isn’t feeling well, we can come to your home and carry out an initial examination in familiar surroundings. Depending on your pet’s symptoms and condition, the visit may include a clinical examination, an ultrasound scan, blood tests or other diagnostic tests.
We weigh every patient using portable veterinary scales so we can calculate medication doses based on their current weight. This means we never have to guess the right dose — we tailor treatment to each pet and their individual needs.
Our aim is to find out what’s troubling your pet and recommend the most appropriate treatment, while keeping stress to a minimum. If further tests or treatment at a clinic are needed, we’ll talk you through the next steps.
Dog registration with the Central Dog Register
From 1 July 2026, all dog owners will need to register their dogs with the new Central Dog Register (CEP).
The CEP is a national database that stores basic information about dogs and their owners, including the dog’s microchip number, rabies vaccination details and the owner’s contact information. This will make it easier to identify a dog and contact their owner if needed — for example, if a dog gets lost.
If your dog is already microchipped, you’ll need to register them at the latest when they next receive a rabies vaccination or booster. Puppies will be registered when they are microchipped, before they go to their new homes.
We can take care of the registration for you during our visit. We’ll check your dog’s microchip and vaccination records, then enter the required details into the CEP.
Ultrasound examinations
An ultrasound scan allows us to examine your pet’s internal organs gently and non- invasively. This examination helps us to identify the cause of their health problems.
We’ll bring our portable ultrasound scanner to your home and carry out the examination there. This means your pet can avoid the journey and waiting time at the clinic and stay in familiar and comfortable surroundings.
At-home euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is a very difficult moment. Home euthanasia allows the last moments to pass in peace, safety and in an environment that your pet knows well. If you are not sure whether the time has come, I will be happy to discuss his health and quality of life with you and together we will find the most sensitive solution.
The entire process is carried out gently and with respect for you and your pet, and I will explain to you what is happening at all times. I will also help you organize the care of your pet's body and draw up the necessary documents.
Parasite prevention and treatment
Parasites can not only bother your pet, but in some cases they also pose a risk to other household members. I will help you choose the appropriate protection against external and internal parasites, taking into account the age, size and lifestyle of your pet. We will also discuss how often and how to use antiparasitic products. The treatment will then take place simply and peacefully right at your home.
Blood tests
Blood tests can help us find the cause of sudden health problems, but they’re also an important part of preventive care, especially for older pets.
Taking a blood sample in the comfort of your home allows us to gather valuable information about your pet’s health without the need for an extra trip to the clinic.
We send all samples to the VETEO laboratory, and results are usually available within two working days.
Microchipping and issuing EU pet passports
A microchip is an important part of identifying your pet and can make it much easier to find it in many situations. We can handle the chipping comfortably at your home, without a trip to the doctor's office and unnecessary stress. If you are going abroad with your pet, I can also issue you a Europass. We will solve everything you need during one visit to your home.
Treatment of minor injuries
A scrape, a small cut or other minor injury can happen to your pet at any time. If it is not a condition that requires acute care at the clinic, I can examine and treat the injury directly at your home. At the same time, I will assess whether home treatment is sufficient or whether further veterinary care will be needed. You can handle it in the peaceful environment of your home without unnecessary travel and stress.
